The War & Peace Show held annually in Kent, has become the world's
largest military vehicle spectacular

On July 20th 2002, author Robert Alexander attended the War & Peace Show in Kent, the world's largest military vehicle spectacular, which this year hosted with over 4000 vehicles and 1000 stall pitches on a massive 40-acre site. Robert signed copies of his book "The Inventor of Stereo - The Life and Works of Alan Dower Blumlein" for the public at the bookstand of Chris Evans Books (www.chrisevansbooks.com).

In addition, Robert's company Dora Media Productions produced three short documentary radio features, which were broadcast continually throughout the main weekend of the event on Radio War & Peace, the official radio station of the War & Peace Show on 87.9FM by radio presenter John Marshall.

The radio show's producer, Chris Evans dedicated specific slots of remembrance to individuals who played important roles during the Second World War, and Alan Blumlein was one of those remembered.

These three documentary radio features covered the loss of Halifax V9977 in June 1942, the role played by Alexandra Palace in jamming German Radar systems, and a short biopsy on who Alan Blumlein was and what he achieved. All three are produced below for you to listen to.
